Reserve now for private or semi-private (Max 6 persons) instruction. Learn to effectively combine the use topographic map, compass and GPS receiver. Practical applications include hunting and fishing skills as well as the exciting new sport of geocaching.
All courses are presented in southern Maine. Clubs, organizations and individuals may arrange for classes to be conducted in your area. Special travel and lodging rates will apply. All classes are conducted in the woods. No inside classroom. Students should dress for outside including hiking boots and suitable clothing for forest travel. Each class will include walking two miles or more during instruction.
