Just the sheer number of times I have visited this lodge (12) should speak for itself. By far one of the hidden jewels of Ontario. Perhaps the best overall value of any outfitter I have visited during the past 40 years as an outdoor writer. Clean accommodations, outstanding food and the widest choices of freshwater fish species.
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and cordial hosts in a small Ontario, Canada village (pop. 350). Modern highway all the way into camp and you have the choice of fishing the lake (23 miles of pike, bass and walleyes) or flying to a remote pond just minutes from the lodge. Bear and moose hunting is far above average and early reservations are suggested.
This is one of the few outfitters that make the rounds of winter sports shows and tell the truth about what clients can expect to catch or hunt.
